Troop 40707: Thats us! Currently we are made up of 14 brownies, 1 Junior and 3 Cadette. We have 2 troop leaders (looking for a 3rd) 1 Community Service Specialist and several adult volunteers.
-Troop events are planned by scouts and leaders. Costs are paid by troop funds or can be split with parents.
Service Unit 611: is made up of troops and volunteers in the North Tacoma area. They provide support for troop leaders and scout events.
-Service Unit Events or SU events are hosted by the service unit or a troop(s) in our service unit. Payments for these events go to the troop hosting the event for fundraising, or to the SU to pay for supplies/venue.
-These events are paid by parents or troop funds (depending on the # of scouts attending we need 50% participation as a troop or level to use troop funds)
GSWW Council: is the geographic location of our Council. Council members of GSWW are paid staff of GSWW that provide programs, events and Camps. They also provide training and support to Service Units and Troop Volunteers.
-Council Events are open to girl scout members within Western Washington, these events are run by Council Members.
-These events are paid by parents unless there is more then 50% of the troop/scout level participating l to use troop funds.

Each year scouts memberships are renewed the $25 fee goes to GSUSA
The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS ) is a global association supporting the female-oriented and female-only Guiding and Scouting organizations in 152 countries. It was established in 1928 in Parád, Hungary, and has its headquarters in London, United Kingdom.
-You will mostly hear about WAGGGS during World Thinking Day on February 22nd. A day for all Guides and Girl Scouts to think of each other and celebrate their sisters all around the world. The theme this year is: Our World, Our Thriving Future: The environment and global poverty
