Wow! Our Troop did a fantastic job selling cookies Last year 4444 Boxes! This year our scouts want to sell 7000 boxes of GirlScout Cookies as a troop.
What's New This Year?
Last Year for Smores Cookie's: Smores have been around for 9 cookie seasons, get them before they're gone forever!
We have a money due date for cash preorders; March 4. All cash from orders between Jan 15-Feb 2(pre-orders) are due to Anna/Dmiitra/Kelsey by March 4th. No additional cookies can be checked out until the difference is paid. Why? Because GSWW is taking a portion of the cookie money out of the troop account March 5th and the rest of the money on March 19th.
Cookie return to troop Leader Date is March 4: Limit is 6 boxes. This year we can't return boxes back to the cupboard so any cookies the troop checks out are the troops responsibility until parents check out cookies from the troop, then parents are financially responsible for those cookies. I will take a few back to sell at the last few booths because I'm nice and know sometimes you just can't get people to buy the last few do-si-dos of toffee tactics.
ALL receipts must be filled out and signed when check-in out cookies and turning in money. Why? Because GSWW got rid of the financial agreement permission slip this year. all receipts state
Initial order (Jan 15-Feb 2nd) cookies will be picked up from troop leader Anna's House
Check out additional cookies from troop leader Dmiitra (Feb 3-Mar 10 or later depending on if we still have many cookies)
Kelsey will be in charge of cookie booth cookies (Feb 28-Mar 16)
Giant pandas are native to the dense bamboo forests in the mountainous regions of central China, particularly in Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu provinces. These forests provide the cool, moist environment they need and an abundant supply of bamboo, which makes up 99% of their diet. Giant pandas have become endangered due to habitat loss caused by deforestation, farming, and infrastructure development. This reduces their access to bamboo and isolates populations, making it harder for them to find mates. Climate change also threatens bamboo availability, further endangering their survival. Conservation efforts, including habitat protection and breeding programs, have helped improve their status to "vulnerable," but continued work is essential to ensure their future.
All cookie donations go to operation cookie: "Giving Back to Our Military
We’ve got cookies! And thanks to you, so do our military service members. Buying Girl Scout Cookies doesn’t mean you have to eat them ALL… you can donate them to US military personnel!
With Operation Cookie, Girl Scouts learn the importance of giving back to their community and—in some small way—thank our military personnel. Donating is also a great way for customers with dietary restrictions to support Girl Scouts in their neighborhoods. If you can’t eat ‘em, treat ‘em!
Donated cookies go to military bases and the Puget Sound United Services Organization to distribute to all branches of the military."
